World War Z Previs Thru Postvis: How HALON Helped Prepare for the Zombie Apocalypse
Daniel Gregoire (HALON Entertainment CEO and founder) and Michael Jackson (HALON postvis supervisor) highlight the art of pitchvis, previs, and postvis with a special presentation on their work for Paramount Pictures's World War Z. Panelists will walk attendees through the process of building exciting shots and scenes from pitchvis to previs, onset, and postvis and delve into a discussion of 3D animation tools, motion capture, and the technology behind HALON's revolutionary hand-held cameras that allow directors to visualize complex scenes in the project before filming.

The artists will showcase several sequences including Let it Go and talk about how the craft of story impacts the animated filmmaking process.

World Premiere: Son of Batman
