Executive producer Brannon Braga (Star Trek, Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey), co-creator/excutive producer Adam Simon and star Shane West (Nikita, ER, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) reveal a sneak peek at the premiere episode of this highly anticipated new series from WGN America and Fox 21. Set in the volatile world of 17th century Massachusetts, Salem explores what really fueled the town's infamous witch trials and dares to uncover the dark, supernatural truth hiding behind the veil of this infamous period in American history. The screening will be followed by an audience Q&A. Queer Horror
Horror films, TV shows, books, and comics are more popular than ever. Authors, filmmakers, and comics creators are always looking for new twists to the medium, including presenting LGBT subtext, plot elements, and characters. But does a gay horror genre exist, and if so what makes it different from mainstream horror? Do queer horror creators bring a different sensibility to the medium? Has the current surge of LGBTQ acceptance and civil rights influenced the horror genre? Prism Comics and moderator/horror expert Sean Abley (Fangoria,Out in The Dark) explore these and other aspects of this popular genre from a queer perspective. Panelists include Paul Etheredge Outz (Hellbent), Jeffrey Reddick (Final Destination, Day of The Dead), J. T. Seaton (Nightshadows, NOLA Horror Film Fest), Jody Wheeler (The Dark Place, Door Q), and others to be announced.

CBLDF: Tales From The Code-True Tales of Censorship
For more than 50 years, American comic books were subject to the censorship of the Comics Code, a system born from a time when comics were burned in the streets and blamed for all of society's ills. Though the Code is gone, its influence remains. The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund gathers top storytellers who worked under the Code's strictures to tell the tales of how its censorship touched their creative visions.
